An Advance Recycling Fee (ARF) has been charged on all new electronic and electrical equipment in Switzerland since 1994. It is used for recycling the equipment in line with environmental regulations, for recovery of materials and for appropriate disposal of non-reusable materials and pollutants. SWICO Recycling guarantees that all equipment that reaches its partners will be recycled in line with environmental requirements.
